Our PoE-optimized systems are designed to support a range of applications in a digital building, from thermostats and clocks to energy-efficient lighting. They meet the need for higher bandwidth and power, while limiting temperature rise in large cable bundles. They are designed and tested to be compliant with all current IEEE PoE standards, Power over HDBaseT™, and IEC 60512-99-001, and are tested to exceed PoE standards up to 100W.

Leviton Atlas-X1™ and eXtreme® jacks feature PoE-optimized tine geometry that keeps the contact point between the plug and jack away from potential electrical arcing damage that can occur with PoE.
Secure, Reliable Connection
Patented Retention Force Technology offers additional protection against arcing damage, providing constant contact force at the jack/ plug interface, preventing inadvertent intermittent disconnects.
Better Heat Dissipation
Leviton's Atlas-X1 is the industry’s only UTP jack to feature a solid metal body, which dissipates heat 53% more efficiently than plastic alternatives for greater system performance and longevity.
Superior Noise-Cancelling and Heat Management
Berk-Tek LANmark™-XTP cables feature a segmented metallic isolation wrap, which radiates heat better than traditional UTP cable, minimizing the cables’ temperature rise in PoE applications. Berk-Tek LANmarkTM-IP cables are specially designed with 22AWG conductors to minimize heat rise, enabling them to easily support up to 100W of PoE.
